Four Times Twisted H

AKA, "Ranger"

Four Chex Gray San (Figure Four Chex) X RKS Doublemint Twist (Doc Olena Twist)

I spent many years training horses for the public before ever attempting to raise my own, and my experiences greatly dictated the qualities I was looking for in my herd when I found Ranger. I was riding 'well bred' quarter horses on toothpick legs that couldn't be rode around on soft green grass without shoes, lacked confidence and endurance, oftentimes were very specialized in their build and movement, and frankly most didn't meet the AQHA breed standard at all.  While a lot has to do with the way a horse is handled in their early years, I wanted to make sure that my foals were being bred for success.

Enter Ranger, a stallion with a mind so quiet and easy, most people don't recognize he's a stallion until I mention it, feet so fabulous that he got his farriers stamp of approval, bone appropriate for his 14.1 hh self, excellent hocks and type, and smooth and easy to ride.

Ranger is one of those horses that everyone loves when they meet him. He's gentle, he's kind, he's athletic and he's a thinker. While he's had a slow start at no fault of his own, he is showing a lot of potential in VRH, Cowhorse, and Reining, and will likely also do some breakaway roping and possibly run some barrels. My goal for Ranger and his foals is to epitomize the dependability, versatility, type and mind that originally represented the American Quarter Horse, and what it stands for. His test foal crop hit the ground in 2022, and I have been very pleased with them so far!

Ranger will be open to a few mares in 2024!

APHA approved.

Ranger is 5 panel and OLWS N/N, more testing to come! Get some of these older, incredibly successful lines and improve your mares type!
